Before you book
When do most sports events happen in the UAE?
Between April and October almost every outdoor session runs before 8am or after 6pm — that is why the week strip above leans so heavily to the edges of the day. Indoor padel, badminton, yoga and gym sessions run right through.
Do I need to join a community to book an event?
No. Any public session can be booked on its own — following the community is optional and just means their next sessions show up in your feed. Some organizers do run members-only or gender-specific sessions, and that is shown on the event before you pay.
Are there free sports events in the UAE?
Yes. Organizers choose whether a session is free, paid online, or paid in cash at the venue, and plenty of run clubs and community meet-ups are free. Use the “Show free only” filter above to see the ones running this week.
What if I can’t make a session I booked?
Cancel before the event’s lock-in date and time and the full amount is refunded to your in-app wallet, ready to spend on any other session. The lock-in date is shown on every event page before you commit, so you always know the window.
Can I list my own community or venue?
Yes — creating a community is free, and you can publish events, take bookings and get paid out from the organizer dashboard. Venue owners can register interest for direct venue booking, which is coming soon. Anything else, email support@meetntrain.com.
